  • As of January 1, 2022, under the No Surprises Act, federal law requires healthcare providers to provide clients and patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance to pay for their care with a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for their healthcare needs, inclusive of psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • The frequency of therapy is a very personal choice. Depending on what you are going through we may meet multiple times a week, once a week, once every two weeks, or once a month. As the client, you are always in control of when you schedule your next appointment with me and I am more than happy to accommodate you as your needs change throughout your therapeutic journey. Please note, I typically require new clients to meet weekly for the first month to help establish the therapeutic relationship.

  • Just like the frequency of therapy, the duration of therapy is also highly personal. If you feel as though your therapeutic goals have been met then we may decrease the frequency we see each other or stop therapy altogether. Additionally, it is important to remember that my door stays open for all clients who terminate therapy and wish to come back at a later time.

  • Please reach out to me using the contact form on my website and I will get back to you within three business days to schedule a consultation call.
